A bright and unique home built in the 1830s remodelled into an aesthetically pleasing space with a blend of vintage furnishings and eclectic accents throughout the cottage.

There is an open plan arrangement that houses the bedroom area, living area, and dining area. The striking quaint living area provides a comfortable space to relax and entertain and is furnished with a 3-seater sofa, occasional chair, as well as a smart TV.

Adjacent to the living space is the bedroom with a comfy four-poster bed. Linen is provided and a ceiling fan cools the room when required. Wide and tall windows flood the dining area with natural light and the 4-seater dining table offers a formal dining space.

A quirky pocket door leads to a refreshing full bathroom with a shower and toilet. The home boasts of a fully equipped kitchen with all essential appliances and utensils. The mint kitchen also provides complimentary condiments.

The cottage exterior features a swimming pool and a fire-pit which are available for guests’ use. This peaceful retreat conformably sleeps four.

EARLY CHECK-INs/ CHECKOUTS
Pending availability on our calendar, we are happy to accommodate most early check ins and late check outs. The price is $20.00 per hour with a minimum of one hour. Please reach out ASAP to ask for potential extensions.

Guests will check-in with a smart lock.

Please note that pool is seasonal and may be closed during certain times of the year.

House Rules

Welcome! We're so glad to host you! Please be aware of the following rules so that everyone can have a safe and enjoyable stay.

EARLY CHECK-INS are not guaranteed. Please note that our check-in time is 4 pm and any early check-ins will need to be manually approved. We will do our best to accommodate, but obviously we need to allow enough time for cleaning and any maintenance to be done before your stay. An accepted request to book does not mean your early check-in time was approved.

LATE CHECKOUTS must be approved. If you stay one hour past your 11 am check out time without approval, you will automatically be charged for that listing's base nightly rate without discounts. Our cleaning staff needs to be prompt in order to service our next guests

MAINTENANCE Understand that we are at the mercy of the property management maintenance team for most general “fix-it” requests. We ask that all our guests are patient and understanding in regard to this. If a previous guest has damaged something minor and we were unable to fix it before check in, it will be reported to the maintenance team.

PETS Pets are welcome to join you here. We kindly ask for a non-refundable $50 pet fee. We're dog lovers, but insurance dictates that we must refrain from allowing aggressive breeds on-site. Please be mindful of the neighbors when taking them outside as well.

KEYS In the event we need to provide a physical key or key fob and it is not returned or is damaged in any way, a $50 fee will occur. If the Schlage lock is damaged by a guest, it is $300 to replace it.

SMOKING This is a non-smoking property. This includes vapes/e-cigarettes. Breaking this rule will result in a $275 fine and potentially the additional cost that is incurred by losing the next guest’s reservation because we cannot eliminate the odor in time for the next booking.

PARTIES We enforce a strict no-parties/noise violation policy. If you throw a party, trash the space, damage the unit, or disrespect the property, you are breaking the rules, will be fined $200 and may be asked to leave. Please respect quiet times from 9 pm to 8 am.

CLEANING Our cleaning fee is based on a courteous guest (e.g. someone who cleans up after themselves, towels in the washer, leaves the place as they found it, etc.). This is NOT a hotel. If the housekeeping crew discovers an unreasonable mess post-checkout, we may charge an additional fee of $100. Trash left outside results in a $50 fine per bag. There are green garbage cans available for use.

LOCALS Guests are not permitted to book a stay in their city of residence unless approved in advance.

EXTRA GUESTS Please note, we have room to sleep 4 guests in this property. In respect to our neighbors, we would ask that extra guests be limited. Additional guests after 5 may incur a $10 fee per person per night.

LIABILITY While every precaution is taken so that you may enjoy your stay, guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur on premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, please understand that you are assuming the risk of any harm arising from the use of the premises. If you notice anything that presents a danger, please notify us so that we may address it in a timely manner. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or demands from rude, disrespectful, and/or discourteous guests. We will not hesitate to terminate your stay at our discretion if you harass/verbally abuse our staff or neighbors.
